Deb D. Donohue lives in the Rocky Mountains where she enjoys writing, reading, hiking, snow-shoeing and dancing.
She studied creative writing, literature, poetry and philosophy at Mesa College and Houston Community Colleges, which sparked her interest in writing novels. Her first two Mystery Fiction Novels are available online. She has completed her third book, a Historical Fiction Novel which will be available soon.
Deb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from University of Houston and studied Interior Design at Design Institute of San Diego.

She has many creative skills in the fields of Architecture as an Intern, Outside Sales Representation in the design and commercial furnishing industry and commercial driving, where she delivered food and medical supplies in a downturned economy while writing her first two novels.
Jillian, A Dakota Hunt Novel Book One and Anji, A Dakota Hunt Novel Book Two are mystery fiction suspense stories. Many of the characters and their stories are based on her own experiences and travels throughout the United States, mainland Alaska and western Canada.
Writing the Dakota Hunt novels was her way of joining the fight against sex trafficking. She hopes her books will help create more of an awareness that our world continues to struggle with modern-day slavery, human trafficking. She hopes to reach young adults, to send the message that they must be aware of their surroundings and protect themselves, so that they do not find themselves victims.
